Organized Play

See You in Seattle

Featured image for a post about organized play. It reads "organized play" in the font of the Emerald Legacy.

Wait, what? Only 7 people registered so far, yet we still want to make the Kotei possible and give you a chance to participate in Emerald Legacy organized play. Read on for all the details!

Some of you have already booked their flights which cannot be refunded. Others have not registered yet because they need certainty that the tournament will definitely take place.

So yes: The Test of the Coral Champion will definitely happen in Seattle!

We will have to cut back a little bit on the prize support to make it happen. We will not have the Hatamoto playmats available at the tournament. Should you become Hatamoto, you can tell us if you want the playmat (they look incredible!). You will most likely have to pay a little bit for them, depending on the number of participants.

We will also not be able to offer the plastic strongholds or the clan champions at this point. Should we get enough participants to be able to cover the costs of them, we will find ways to get them to you.

Please keep in mind that we’re a non-profit, fan driven project, and that we pay for most of the prize support in advance with our own money. We want to re-establish regular in-person tournaments, as the most important aspect — at least to my mind (Hida Amoro) — is the community, being together and having a great time. So thank you for coming to Seattle, it will be a great event!
